Just 50 Cents Campus Challenge

Act Now, Make Change, and Win

The Just 50 Cents Campus Challenge is designed to give students like YOU the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by becoming a Student Ambassador and fighting the world’s most neglected tropical diseases.

Enter as an Individual

The full-time undergraduate or graduate student that raises the most money to fight NTDs will win:

  • A four-week paid internship with the Global Network in Washington, D.C., plus $1,000 for housing
  • If the student raises over $5,000, the internship will include an all-expense paid trip to an NTD treatment site in Africa or Latin America,with the chance to meet experts and patients in the field.

Enter as a Group and Double Your Money

The University group/ organization that leads a Just 50 Cents Campaign and raises the most money will win:

  • A matching donation of up to $25,000 in the university's name towards NTD control efforts.

    Starting a Campaign is Easy

    1. Fill out our Lead a Campaign form. After you create a name for your campaign/ group, be sure to check the box that indicates you are a participant in the Campus Challenge.

    2. Download the Just 50 Cents Campaign Toolkit for printable education materials. Check out our campaign ideas and organizing tips for inspiration.

    3. Launch your campaign! Reach out to your school and community. Encourage friends and family to donate to your campaign online—just make sure they include your name and indicate that the donation is part of the Campus Challenge!

    4. Review the official rules before you begin.

    The Campus Challenge will launch ar 12:01AM (ET) on November 2, 2009 and conclude at 11:59PM (ET) on April 2, 2010.
